UTSA Defensive End Transfer Ronald Triplette (6’2″/250) will be taking an Official Visit early next week, beginning on Monday, according to his NIL representative.

NC State offered Triplette on December 10th. He also has an offer from Georgia Tech.

Triplette didn’t start a single game this season for the Roadrunners, but he was the highest graded player on their defense according to PFF (87.4). He had an elite Pass Rush grade (85.1), and also graded out well in Run Defense (82.4).

Triplette finished the regular season with 23 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

Originally, he was a 3-star prospect in Kansas State’s 2020 recruiting class out of Pearland, Texas. After 1 season, he transferred to UTSA, but the season didn’t count against his eligibility due to the Covid-19 year.

Rivals ranks him as a 3-Star prospect in the Transfer Portal, ranking him as the #73 overall prospect, and the #9 Defensive Lineman.

He has 1 year of eligibility remaining.
