NC State RB Kendrick Raphael Re-Signs With Savage Wolves for 2025

Sophomore Running Back Justin Joly just announced that he has re-signed with Savage Wolves, NC State’s Football NIL Branch (as a part of 1Pack), which means he will be returning in 2025. He has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Raphael has rushed for 419 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, averaging 5.66 yards per carry. He also has 10 receptions for 41 yards. His PFF grade for the year is 67.0.

Raphael’s 5.66 yards per carry is the 11th best average in a single season in NC State history. When you combine that with the fact that Redshirt Freshman Hollywood Smothers is averaging 5.84 yards per carry, which ranks 9th in school history, the forecast for the NC State rushing attack is in good hands in 2025.

The Wolfpack head into next season with their two best running backs still in the stable. From a depth perspective, it bodes well for the future that they both have multiple years of eligibility remaining.

Raphael is the 23rd player to re-sign with Savage Wolves.
