NC State Offers All-Conference FCS Linebacker Jaxton Eck From the University of Idaho

NC State offered Linebacker Jaxton Eck (6’1″/225), who is transferring from the University of Idaho (FCS).

Eck earned 1st Team All-Big Sky honors this year as a Sophomore, racking up 134 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 interception and 1 pass breakup in 14 games for the Vandals.

As a True Freshman in 2023, Eck had 37 tackles, 3 tackles for loss and 2 pass breakups in 12 games.

Eck was elite this season, earning a PFF grade of 83.1. His specialty was stopping the run, with a Run Defense grade of 89.8, which was the 17th best grade by a Linebacker in the FCS ranks.

Eck has 2 years of eligibility remaining, and still hasn’t used his Redshirt season.
