A Brawl Breaks Out Between NC State & ECU at the End of the Military Bowl

A fight broke out between NC State and East Carolina the end of the Military Bowl. When these two teams get together on the football field, tensions are always high. The whole game was fairly tame, until the very end, and then what erupted was probably the biggest fight that’s taken place between the Wolfpack and the Pirates. Five NC State players were ejected, and 3 ECU players.

It all began when an ECU player stole Tamarcus Cooley’s towel, and Cooley chased him down to get it back. The Pirate dramatically fell to the ground, and Cooley went to get his towel. Another ECU player dove at Cooley to get him off of his teammate, and mayhem broke out across the entire field.

Then, a scary scene happened, when the face of a referee was bloodied severely. An ECU player came up behind Brandon Cleveland and shoved him, and Cleveland’s helmet went full force into the referee’s face.

When the Pirates and the Wolfpack open the season in 2025, the final scene of this game will still be fresh in their minds.
