NC State Offensive Lineman Robby Martin is Entering the Transfer Portal

Last night at 11:59, was the deadline to enter the Portal for Wolfpack players that aren’t Graduate Transfers, so I’m guessing Martin submitted his paperwork before then, but it just became public today.

Martin was a consensus 3-star prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2024 recruiting class, and the consensus #1 ranked player in the state of West Virginia. ESPN ranked Martin as the #27 Offensive Guard in the 2024 recruiting class. Martin chose NC State out of a Final Four that included Maryland, Penn State and West Virginia.

Considering former NC State Defensive Coordinator Tony Gibson took the Head Coaching job at Marshall, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Martin head home. Three NC State players have already followed Gibby to Marshall.

Martin is 1 of 16 NC State players to enter the Transfer Portal this year.
