#22 NC State Crushes Boston College 91-52 in Reynolds

#22 NC State crushed Boston College 91-52 in Reynolds Coliseum today, improving to 11-3 overall, and 3-0 in the ACC. The 91 points were a season high.

The Wolfpack filled the net, shooting 50.7% from the field, and smothered the Eagles on defense, holding them to 23% shooting from the field.

Senior Guard Saniya Rivers posted her 3rd double-double of the season, with 23 points (8-11 FG) and 11 boards. She also had 4 assists and 4 steals (tied for team high).

NC State had 6 players score in double figures.

Senior Guard Aziaha James had 17 points (6-14 FG) and 4 assists.

Senior Guard Madison Hayes had 13 points (4-7 FG) and 5 boards.

Sophomore Guard Zoe Brooks posted her 1st double-double of the season, and the third of her career. Brooks had 11 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals (tied for team high) and a team high 5 assists.

Freshman Forward Tilda Trygger had 10 points, which was a career high.

Boston College dominated the offensive glass, snagging 19, compared to NC State’s 11. The Eagles had 3 more 2nd chance points as a result.

The Wolfpack forced BC to commit 16 turnovers, and turned those into 20 points. The Eagles forced NC State to commit 12, and turned them into 9 points.

NC State is currently riding a 7-game winning streak. They will play at #20 California on Thursday at 10pm on ACC Network Extra.
