Alabama Linebacker Sterling Dixon (6’3″/211) is Transferring to NC State!

On an Official Visit today in Raleigh, the Wolfpack must have made a quick impression on the former consensus 4-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. Dixon took a visit to UNC earlier this week.

News broke of Dixon entering the Transfer Portal on January 4th.

Dixon played in only 3 games for the Crimson Tide this season as a True Freshman, allowing him to Redshirt. He has 4 years of eligibility.

Coming out of Spanish Fort High School in Mobile, Alabama, Rivals ranked him as the #169 overall player nationally, the #6 Linebacker and the #10 player in the state of Alabama.

It’s my understanding that Dixon was on a visit to UNC yesterday.

ON3 currently ranks him as the #29 Linebacker in the Transfer Portal.
