Leading up to the big reveal, the ACC has teased a few games for each team. On Thursday, the ACC disclosed the season opener for each school; NC State will begin its season at home against ECU on Thursday, August 28th, a change from the initially expected Saturday, August 30th. This will be the third consecutive season that the Wolfpack starts on a Thursday night.

On Friday, the ACC announced the conference openers for each school. NC State will commence its ACC games against Wake Forest on the road on Thursday, September 11th. Additionally, it was revealed that NC State will be Duke’s conference opener on September 20th in Durham, and Virginia Tech’s on September 27th in Raleigh.

Six years ago, NC State and Campbell agreed to a two-game series in Raleigh, with the first game scheduled for 2025 and the second for 2028. Following the release of Campbell’s football schedule last night, it was confirmed that their game against the Wolfpack would take place on October 4th.
