Baseball America Includes NC State in Their 2025 Preseason Top-25

NC State will kick off their 2025 Baseball season on February 14th in a 3-game series against Fordham at home. Baseball America released their Preseason Top-25 today, and the Wolfpack is ranked 16th.

NC State finished the 2024 season ranked 7th in the Final Baseball America Top-25 rankings.

Here’s what Baseball America had to say about the Wolfpack in their Top-25 release today:

NC State in 2024 made it to Omaha for the third time under 29th-year head coach Elliott Avent, then brought back several key pieces from that team, including two-thirds of their primary weekend rotation, lefties Dominic Fritton and Ryan Marohn. The Wolfpack lineup will mostly feature newcomers from the transfer portal. They’ll need to establish offensive contributors early to have another run at Omaha in a loaded ACC. (BA)
