Today is National Signing Day for the 2025 Football Recruiting Class. Back on December 6th, NC State signed 17 players on the Early National Signing Day.

Former Missouri Cornerback Jaren Sensabaugh (6’0″/179) signed his National Letter of Intent to play football for NC State today. He announced he was transferring to run with the Wolfpack on January 5th.

Sensabaugh was a 4-Star prospect in the Tigers’ 2024 recruiting class. 247Sports ranked him as the #242 overall player nationally in the 2024 recruiting class, the #22 Cornerback and the #8 player in the state of Tennessee. Originally, Sensabaugh was committed to Vanderbilt (June 20, 2023). Sensabaugh decommitted from Vandy on November 12th. After opening up his recruitment, he picked up offers from Tennessee, NC State, Missouri and UCLA. He officially visited all 4, but ultimately chose the Tigers over the Vols.

Sensabaugh redshirted this season, only playing in 6 snaps in 1 game as a True Freshman. He has 4 years of eligibility remaining.

On January 4th, Sensabaugh entered the Transfer Portal after Missouri beat Iowa 27-24 in the Music City Bowl on December 30th.

Sensabaugh didn’t even need to visit. He knew where he wanted to be, committing to NC State today, one day after entering the Portal.

Sensabaugh instantly became the highest graded Cornerback on NC State’s roster according to 247Sports’ high school rankings.
