Purdue Transfer Offensive Lineman Jalen Grant Signs his NLI to Play for NC State

Today is National Signing Day for the 2025 Football Recruiting Class. Back on December 6th, NC State signed 17 players on the Early National Signing Day.

Former Purdue Offensive Lineman Jalen Grant (6’3″/285) signed his National Letter of Intent to play football for NC State today. He announced he was transferring to run with the Wolfpack on December 21st.


Grant was a 3-Star prospect in the Transfer Portal this offseason. He picked up offers from NC State,

He only played in 3 games as a reserve this season for the Boilermakers, giving him the ability to redshirt the season. Grant has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

Prior to 2023, Grant started in all 12 games for the Boilermakers at Right Guard, with a PFF grade of 60.9.

Grant spent his first three years at Bowling Green before transferring to Purdue.

In 2022, he started in 12 of the 13 games he played in, starting 10 games at Left Guard, and 2 at Center.

In 2021, he started in all 12 games, starting 2 games at Left Guard, and 10 at Center.

As a True Freshman, Grant played in the final 5 games, starting in the last 4.
