WOLFERETTI: My favorite NC State gear to rock heading into the spring baseball season

I’m a man of great taste, as you can tell from my profile picture. So of course I’m very picky about what Wolfpack gear I’m rocking.

There are a lot of options out there that range from corny dad gear to generic Wal-Mart gear, and honestly this is what I see a lot of when I’m walking around town. But it’s not like there isn’t cool NC State gear floating around out there, it’s just that they don’t carry it at Dick’s Sporting Goods or Wal-Mart.

If you want to rep the Pack with a little style, you’re going to want to make sure you’re going to the right spot. You can go to the campus store in Talley which carries some cool stuff, or you can go to our favorite spot “The Red & White Shop” on Wade Ave (next to Whole Foods).

This is going to read like a paid advertisement, but it’s not. In fact, they don’t even know I’m writing this. I just love the fact that they always have unique gear, always have stuff that’s a little more stylish than your normal sports apparel shop, and I love the fact that the business is run by an NC State alum.

That said, here are my favorite items they have in stock, some of which I have and some of which I’m eyeing heading into baseball season.

Nothing is better for a baseball game than a clean New Era. This is a 9Fifty, which means it has an adjustable strap. The Wolfhead is NC State’s main logo now, so this is just a good basic staple for all NC State fans.

The new cream jerseys have taken Wolfpack nation by storm. So go out and grab one to rock to the game. Throw on a T-shirt, and rock this puppy unbuttoned to put off that casual baseball vibe.

If it’s a little chilly, grab this NC State Franchise Pullover Jacket. Get those retro, Starter vibes, with a 2025 fit.

I’ll be honest, I’ve seen these NC State shoe drops over the past few years and have been underwhelmed. I’ve never got myself a pair, but that ends this season. These Alphaboost V2’s coupled with an athletic elastic-ankle pant would be a great way to bring your NC State aura to the next level.
