D1Baseball Includes 3 NC State Pitchers in their 2025 Preseason Top-150 Starting Pitchers

D1Baseball released its 2025 Preseason Top-150 Starting Pitchers, and NC State had three pitchers represented.

Junior Dom Fritton is ranked 87th. After a phenomenal freshman season, Fritton struggled last year, finishing with a 3-7 record and a 7.64 ERA. He recorded 72 strikeouts in 73 innings with a 1.63 WHIP. As a freshman, Fritton was named a First Team Freshman All-American by D1Baseball, Baseball America, and Perfect Game, and earned a spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team. In his debut season in Raleigh, he posted a 3-4 record with a 3.59 ERA, a 1.18 WHIP, and 75 strikeouts in 62.2 innings pitched.

Sophomore Ryan Marohn is ranked 98th after an impressive freshman campaign last year. He posted a 4-2 record with a 3.97 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. His ERA was the best on the Wolfpack pitching staff. Marohn struck out 46 batters in 59 innings and recorded a 3.72 ERA in ACC play.

Sophomore Heath Andrews also made an appearance on the list. He saw action in 10 games (including one start) during his first season last year, finishing with an 11.57 ERA. Andrews was ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in the state of Virginia in the 2024 recruiting class.
