NC State is one of only four schools that have hosted College GameDay for football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball, joining the ranks of LSU, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee.

In 2004, the Wolfpack fell to #4 Miami with a score of 31-45. Quarterback Jay Davis threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns, with one interception. Richard Washington made six receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns, while running back T.A. McClendon carried the ball 22 times for 145 yards, adding three receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown.

In 2013, #18 NC State defeated UNC 91-83. Three Wolfpack players achieved double-doubles in that game. Lorenzo Brown notched 20 points and 11 assists, CJ Leslie added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Richard Howell contributed 16 points and 14 rebounds.

To date, NC State has a 1-1 record when College GameDay visits. Will the Wolfpack pull off an upset on Sunday, securing a winning record under the brightest national spotlight?
