NC State Reaches Out to Coastal Carolina Guard Rasheed Jones

According to Coastal Carolina guard Rasheed Jones’ agent, he has received interest from NC State.

Jones just wrapped up his redshirt sophomore season at Coastal, averaging 11.6 points and 3.8 rebounds, shooting 38% from the field and 34% from three.

This past year was Jones’ first in Conway, South Carolina, playing the previous season at Northwest Florida State College, where he averaged 11.8 points and 2.8 rebounds, shooting 45.3% from the field and 39.7% from beyond the arc. JUCORecruiting.com ranked him as the #55 overall junior college prospect in the 2024 recruiting class.

In 2022-23, Jones redshirted at Western Carolina. Jones is looking for his fourth school in four years. On March 8, news broke that Jones intended to enter the Transfer Portal.
