NC State Guard Laci Steele is entering the Transfer Portal.
Steele was a part of NC State’s 4-person 2023 recruiting class, made up of Zoe Brooks (5-Stars/#9 nationally), Mallory Collier (4-Stars/#55 nationally), Steele (4-Stars/#56 nationally), and Maddie Cox (4-Stars/#71 nationally).
It’s completely understandable for Steele to look for a new school where she could find more minutes. Steele actually saw her playing time decrease from Year 2. As a Freshman, she averaged 11.8 minutes in 32 games, but this season she only averaged 7.3 minutes in 21 games.
Steele has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
