NC State has reached out to FAU Transfer Small Forward Tre Carroll (6’7″/227), according to Jeff Goodman.

Carroll earned 2nd Team All-AAC honors this season, averaging 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds for the Owls, while shooting an impressive 52.3% from the field and 38.8% from three. What makes these numbers even more impressive is that he only started in 14 of 34 games, averaging only 22.1 minutes per game. As a result of seeing his scoring average jump by 8.2 points this season, Carroll was a Co-Recipient of the AAC Most Improved Player of the Year Award.

One year can change everything for a player, and that’s what the 2024-25 season did for Carroll. After redshirting his first year, and only averaging 3.8 points in 6.2 minutes per game in his first two years on the court, Carroll set himself up to transfer to a Power 4 school for his final year of eligibility next season.
