According to 247Sports, BYU Transfer Linebacker Harrison Taggart (6’1″/230) is on an Official Visit to NC State.

Taggart just wrapped up his Redshirt Sophomore season with BYU, recording 69 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 3 pass breakups, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery, posting the 2nd most tackles of any Cougars defender. He started in every game, earning a grade of 74.7, which was the 4th best grade on BYU’s defense.

Taggart’s improvement from 2023 to 2024 was incredible, earning a dismal grade of 45.2 as a Redshirt Freshman at BYU.

Coming out of high school, Taggart was a 4-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, with ON3 ranking him as the #237 overall player nationally, the #20 Linebacker and the #3 player in the state of Utah.

Taggart signed with Oregon, redshirting in 2022, seeing action in only 3 games.

Taggart has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
