North Tech Transfer Cornerback Brian Nelson II (6’0″/191) has signed with NC State after taking a visit yesterday!

He was expected to visit Purdue next week, but that will no longer be necessary!
Nelson just wrapped up his Redshirt Freshman year with the Mean Green. This Fall, he tallied 53 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, 3 pass breakups and 1 fumble recovery. His PFF grade was 72.1, which ranked 3rd on the North Texas Defense. Nelson was named 1st Team All-AAC.
ON3 rates him as a 3-star Transfer Prospect, ranking him as the #275 overall player to enter the Portal and the #34 Cornerback.
They also rank him as 1 of the Top-10 available players in the Portal.
