Georgia Transfer Cornerback Chris Peal Took an Official Visit to NC State

Georgia Transfer Cornerback Chris Peal (6’1″/195) took an official visit to NC State last Wednesday, according to sources.

Peal just wrapped up his redshirt freshman season with the Bulldogs, playing in four games. He redshirted in 2023.

ON3 rates Peal as a 3-star transfer prospect and ranks him as the No. 95 cornerback to enter the portal this offseason.

Peal is a North Carolina native, having played for Providence Day School in Charlotte. Coming out of high school, he was a consensus 4-star prospect, with ON3 ranking him as the No. 83 overall prospect nationally in the 2023 recruiting class, the No. 9 cornerback, and the No. 4 player in the state of North Carolina.

Before ultimately committing to Georgia, NC State was one of Peal’s final schools. He took official visits to Georgia, NC State, Michigan, and South Carolina.
