Nebraska Tight End Transfer Ian Flynt (6’4″/255) commits to NC State!

As a true freshman this past fall, Flynt redshirted his first collegiate year with the Cornhuskers, seeing action in one game.

ON3 rates him as a 3-star transfer prospect and the #49 tight end to enter the portal this offseason.

Coming out of Taylor High School (Katy, Texas), Flynt was a 4-star prospect according to Rivals, which ranked him as the #22 tight end nationally in the 2024 recruiting class and the #56 player in the state of Texas.
