The Wolfpack went 6-7 in an underwhelming 2024 campaign, that began with hopes that soared as high as a potential College Football Playoff birth. NC State started last year ranked 24th in the 2024 Preseason AP Poll.

A mirage of things didn’t go the Wolfpack’s way last Fall, but no matter how you slice it, the results were nothing short of disappointing.

After last season, it’s not shocking to see the expectations for the Wolfpack to be much lower heading into the 2025 season.

With that being said, if 6 wins is Vegas’ expectations, NC State MUST exceed expectations in 2025.

In my opinion, Dave Doeren can’t afford to have a season with less than 8 wins this Fall.
