NC State Transfer Forward Signee Jerry Deng has Withdrawn from the NBA Draft

NC State Transfer Forward signee Jerry Deng (6’9″/220) has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft.

Deng wasn’t expected to be drafted, but went through the process. He announced he was transferring to NC State from Florida State on April 25th.

In his lone season in Tallahassee, Deng averaged 7.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per game. He started 2 of the 21 games he played in.

Deng began his collegiate career at Hampton, where he averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game, starting 11 of 33 games.

Coming out of high school, ON3 rated Deng as a 3-star prospect, and 247Sports gave him 2 stars. Currently, 247Sports has Deng rated as a 4-star transfer prospect, ranked as the #274 overall player to enter the portal this offseason and the #47 power forward.
