NC State Offers 2028 Point Guard Cohen LaCore

NC State offered 2028 Point Guard Cohen LaCore out of Melissa High School (Melissa, Texas) on Monday.

Wolfpack head coach Will Wade has been in the process of re-offering players in the 2028 recruiting class from Texas that he previously offered when he was the head coach at McNeese St. Back on August 29th, Wade was the first Division I coach to offer LaCore a scholarship.

On Monday, Wade also re-offered a scholarship to LaCore’s high school and AAU teammate Trey Edwards. He re-offered Guard Benji Berrouet out of McKinney, Texas on Sunday.

LaCore also holds offers from McNeese St., Pepperdine, Portland, UIW, and others.

This past season, he averaged 8.5 points with a 3.2 assist-to-turnover ratio, shooting 34% from three for the Cardinals.
