NC State’s Current 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Roster: Measurements/Eligibility/Rankings After Lubin Commitment

Here’s a look at NC State’s 2025-26 Men’s Basketball roster after the commitment of UNC Transfer Forward Ven-Allen Lubin yesterday.

As of now, the Wolfpack is out of scholarships for the 2025–26 season.

That being said, that doesn’t mean NC State’s roster is finalized. As things currently stand, teams are still only allowed 13 scholarship players. The Wolfpack could designate a player on their roster as a walk-on, opening up a spot for another scholarship player. There are obviously other ways for players to have their schooling paid for these days.

Also, there’s no guarantee that everyone currently on the roster will still be there when the season rolls around. Center Paul Mbiya has signed with NC State, but as an international player, could there be complications? I’m not saying there will be, but the possibility is always there.

The other thing to watch is the final approval of the House settlement, which would allow men’s basketball teams to have 15 scholarship players on the roster. It was supposed to go into effect on July 1st, but as of now, it still hasn’t crossed the dotted line.
