Yesterday, NC State Men’s Basketball announced the signing of Wyoming transfer center Scottie Ebube (6’10″/275).

Ebube just wrapped up his junior season at Wyoming. As a member of the Cowboys, he averaged 5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game, shooting 67.6% from the field.

Before transferring to Wyoming, Ebube played his first three seasons at Southern Illinois.

After redshirting in 2021–22, he saw limited action in 2022–23, averaging 4.2 minutes across 12 games.

As a sophomore for the Salukis, he averaged 6 points and 3.6 rebounds, shooting 69% from the field.

Ebube has one year of eligibility remaining.

Here’s what Wolfpack Head Coach Will Wade had to say about the signing:

“I’m excited to add Scottie to our roster. He’s got great physical presence, has excellent finishing ability at the rim, and is an elite offensive rebounder. He’s shot over 60 percent from the field in all three of his seasons at the college level, and I’m looking forward to having him in an NC State uniform.” (GP)
