NC State Hosted 4-Star Small Forward Cole Cloer for an Unofficial Visit Yesterday

NC State hosted 4-star 2026 small forward Cole Cloer (6’8″/195) for an unofficial visit yesterday, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

ESPN and 247Sports both rank Cloer as the No. 24 overall player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, with the latter ranking him as the No. 10 small forward and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina.

Cloer has already scheduled official visits to Florida (September 6) and Alabama (October 18).

He holds offers from NC State, UNC, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Mississippi State, Oregon, South Carolina, Wake Forest, VCU, Iowa, Tennessee, Miami, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Illinois, Georgetown, UConn, UVA, Villanova, Indiana, and others.

Cloer averaged 18.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1 steal for Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC), shooting 51% from the field and 41% from three.
