NC State Makes the Top-8 for 4-Star Small Forward Cole Cloer

2026 4-Star Small Forward Cole Cloer (6’7″/195) is down to 8 schools, and NC State made the cut along with Alabama, UVA, UCONN, Indiana, UNC, Louisville and Florida.

ESPN ranks Cloer as the #22 overall player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, the #9 Small Forward and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina.

Cloer averaged 18.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1 steal for Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC), shooting 51% from the field and 41% from three.

He took an unofficial visit to NC State last Thursday.

Cloer has already scheduled official visits to Florida (September 6) and Alabama (October 18).
