NC State’s Dave Doeren has the 12th Best Golf Handicap According to Brett McMurphy’s Research
Brett McMurphy of ON3 released his 2025 College Football Head Coach Golf Handicap Rankings, and NC Stead Head Football Coach Dave Doeren ranks 12th, with a 11.3 handicap, making him the 2nd best golfer out of all the ACC Coaches.
Doeren’s former Defensive Coordinator Tony Gibson, the new Head Coach at Marshall is ranked 1 spot higher, with a handicap of 11.2.
The only other ACC Coach in the Top-22 is UNC’s Bill Belichick, who boasts a handicap of 12.5.
