According to ON3’s Noah Fleischman, NC State Sophomore Quarterback CJ Bailey has not only added weight heading into the 2025 season—he’s also added height.

Bailey told Fleischman that he grew an inch over the offseason, while also adding 15 pounds of muscle.

The Wolfpack quarterback now stands 6’7″ and weighs 215 pounds.

For perspective, Bailey arrived in Raleigh in January 2024 weighing 190 pounds, according to GoPack.com.

Possessing a lean frame, there were concerns about how his body would handle consistent contact at the collegiate level. But Bailey quieted those concerns in his freshman season, proving to be durable and bouncing back up after each hit.

As the Wolfpack signal-caller continues to bulk up, defenders might just start bouncing off him.
