5-Star PG Deron Rippey Jr. has Scheduled an Official Visit to NC State
5-Star Point Guard Deron Rippey Jr. (6’2″/175) has scheduled an Official Visit to NC State for November 7th. He also has scheduled 9 other Official Visits.
Rippey Jr. included the Wolfpack in his Top-12 schools back on July 15th. He picked up an offer from NC State on June 17th.
ESPN rates Rippey Jr. as a 5-star prospect, and 247Sports and Rivals rank him as the #17 overall player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class and the #1 player in the state of New Jersey. 24Sports ranks Rippey Jr. as the #2 Point Guard nationally.
This past year, he led Blair Academy to a 24-4 record, averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Rippey Jr. was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in New Jersey as a Junior.
