  • Redshirt Junior Nickel Jackson Vick didn’t play due to injury.
    • Redshirt Freshman Asaad Brown started in his place, logging the first snap of his collegiate career.
    • The most snaps Brown had played prior to Saturday was 10 against Wake Forest the week before.
  • Sabastian Harsh missed the first half of the game due to a targeting call the week before.
    • As a result, Isaiah Shirley played the most snaps of his collegiate career.
  • Cian Slone had to leave the game due to an upper extremity injury.
    • As a result, Tra Thomas played the most snaps since arriving in Raleigh from Temple.
  • Sean Brown was the only player to play every snap on defense.
  • True Freshman Ke’Von Carter has now played in all 4 games to start the season.
    • If he plays in another game his redshirt will officially be burned.
    • This was the 2nd game of the season that Carter saw defensive snaps, playing 1 snap previously against ECU in Week 1.
  • Redshirt Junior Defensive End Joseph Adedire saw his first snaps since transferring to NC State from Texas Tech this offseason.
  • Despite being listed as a backup, Ronnie Royal III started over JJ Johnson.
