2027 Tight End Griffin Cockerham Commits to NC State

2027 Tight End Griffin Cockerham (6’3″/228) announced his commitment to NC State today.

The Wolfpack offered the local talent back on June 22nd, and he also holds offers from Liberty and UNC-Charlotte.

Cockerham plays for Cardinal-Gibbons in Raleigh, where he has 2 receptions for 18 yards on offense, and 27 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 5 sacks and 5 QB hurries.

He is currently an unrated and unranked recruit.

Cockerham is a legacy recruit, with his Uncle Terry Harvey playing Quarterback for the Wolfpack from 1991-95.

NC State now has 2 commits in their 2027 recruiting class, with Cockerham joining 3-Star Running Back Christian Freeman out of Southeast Raleigh.
