NC State needed a Point Guard out of the Transfer Portal, and Will Wade found one in Michigan State Transfer Tre Holloman (6’2″/195) on April 13th, becoming the third player to join the Wolfpack’s 2025 Transfer Class.

Holloman played his first three seasons at Michigan St., where he served as a captain last season, averaging 9.1 points, 3.7 assists and 1.9 rebounds.

He ranked 2nd on the team in three-pointers made, assists and tied for the team lead in steals.

Holloman was a 4-star transfer prospect, with ON3 ranking him as the #99 overall player in the Portal, and the #18 Point Guard.

His best game of the season probably was against Wolfpack rival UNC in the Maui Invitational. Holloman had 20 points, 7 assists and 3 steals in the Spartans’ 94-91 win over the Tar Heels in overtime. He was 5 of 9 from the field, 3 of 6 from three.

Check out his highlights below.
