WATCH: Jerry Deng’s Best Game of 2024-25

Junior Forward Jerry Deng (6’9″/230) transferred to NC State this offseason from Florida State. ON3 rated Deng as a 4-Star prospect in the Transfer Portal, the #279 overall prospect and the #51 Power Forward.

Deng’s best game last season for the Seminoles was his 16 point performance against UNC on February 24th. The Georgia native was 6 of 8 from the field, and 4 of 6 from three. Check out the highlights below.





In his lone season in Tallahassee, Deng averaged 7.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per game. He started 2 of the 21 games he played in.

Deng began his collegiate career at Hampton, where he averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game, starting 11 of 33 games.

Coming out of high school, ON3 rated Deng as a 3-star prospect, and 247Sports gave him 2 stars. Currently, 247Sports has Deng rated as a 4-star transfer prospect, ranked as the #274 overall player to enter the portal this offseason and the #47 power forward.
