Friday’s Availability Report for NC State vs. Pitt (Significant Update)
The Availability Report for NC State’s matchup against Pitt today was updated last night, and there was a significant change.
Starting True Freshman Right Guard Spike Sowells Jr. was listed as Questionable, but is now listed as Out. When Sowells Jr. left the Wolfpack’s game against Notre Dame with an injury, Redshirt Junior Val Erickson entered the game to play the final 9 snaps at Right Guard.
Redshirt Senior Anthony Carter Jr., NC State’s starter at Left Guard, left the game against the Irish after only 11 snaps, and Redshirt Sophomore Kamen Smith filled the void for the remainder of the game. Carter Jr. is still listed as Questionable.
Dave Doeren mentioned in his radio show this week that Wide Receivers Sophomore Terrell Anderson and Redshirt Sophomore Noah Rogers were banged up against Notre Dame, but both will be ready to play today.
