NC State vs. UNCG: A Historical Perspective

The NC State Men’s Basketball team will host UNC-Greensboro this evening at 8pm in the Lenovo Center. The game will be televised on the ACC Network.

This marks the 13th time the Wolfpack and Spartans have played one another, with the home team holding an 11-1 edge in the series.

In 2017, UNC-Greensboro handed NC State their only loss in the series, defeating the Pack 81-76 in the Lenovo Center, which was the last time the two teams played in Raleigh.

  • In 2007, the two teams combined to score 188 points, which is the third most in the history of the Lenovo Center.
  • In the season opener this year, the NC State made 19 three-pointers, tying the school record set back in 2017 against Jacksonville.
