3-Star 2026 Linebacker Caleb Gordon (6’0″/215) flipped his commitment from West Virginia to NC State today!

Originally, Gordon verbally committed to Arkansas back on June 3rd, but later decommitted on September 29th. He then verbally committed to West Virginia a little over a week ago, on November 24th, but NC State wasn’t done recruiting him. Gordon took an Official Visit to Raleigh this past weekend, and that sealed the deal.

ESPN ranks Gordon as the #42 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2026 recruiting class.

He also held offers from UNC, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Pitt, UVA and others.

Gordon finished his Senior season at Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) with 128 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 3 sacks.
