Cervical kyphosis or cervical lordosis, the medical word for the ailment commonly known as "humpback neck" is caused by an abnormal curvature of the cervical spine (neck area). Congenital anomalies, trauma, degenerative changes in the spine, and bad posture are a few of the causes of this. Headaches, neck pain, tingling in the hands or arms, and stiffness are possible symptoms. Physical therapy, posture correction, and, in extreme circumstances, surgery are available as forms of treatment. The only ways to treat a humpback neck effectively are with early diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
