The Maxwell Football Club revealed their watch list for the Bednarik Award today, and NC State Defensive End Mike Rose’s name was on the list. The Bednarik Award has been awarded to the nations best defensive player annually since 1995.

Last season Rose had an incredible year with 15 tackles for loss, which is the 11th best single-season effort in NC State history, and has 20 for his career. Rose is one of NC State’s best chances of being drafted by an NFL team in 2016.
