NC State vs. South Carolina in 2017

NC State’s non-conference schedule this year has been criticized extensively, and it looks like the Wolfpack administration has done something to spruce it up in the future.  According to Joe Giglio, of the News & Observer, NC State will play South Carolina in the Belk College Kickoff Classic in Charlotte in 2017.  Troy will get bumped to a future date and the Gamecocks will slide into a non-conference schedule that includes Notre Dame, East Carolina, and William & Mary.

These two teams have played each other 57 times, and the Gamecocks hold a slight edge with a 27-26-4 record.  South Carolina has won the last two (2008 & 09), but NC State won 4 straight prior to that.
