NC State Quarterback Ryan Finley just keeps on streaking!

He has thrown 288 straight pass attempts without throwing an interception, which happens to be the longest active streak in the nation. A couple of the nations finest are 100 pass attempts or so behind him. Alabama’s Jalen Hurts has thrown 192 consecutive pass attempts without throwing an interception and Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield has thrown 188.

If Finley breaks Russell Wilson’s NC State record of 379 consecutive passes without an interception, he will also be breaking the ACC record as well.

Finley is throwing an average of 37.2 passes attempts per game, and is currently 91 pass behind Wilson. If Finley keeps up this pace, he just needs to make it 2.5 more games without a pick, and the record is his. For what it’s worth, the NCAA FBS record is held by Colby Cameron of Louisiana Tech, who threw 444 consecutive passes without an interception.
