Yesterday after practice, NC State head coach Dave Doeren addressed the media one last time before the Boston College game tomorrow. He broke down BC and the Wolfpack’s injuries. Here it is in bulleted form.

  • BC Quarterback was throwing a lot of interceptions earlier in the season, but he is taking better care of the ball now.
  • Michael Walker is a good punt returner. North-south. Hard to bring down. Problem last week against Clemson was 8 guys missed tackles, and Cole slightly out punted his coverage.
  • Practiced against trick plays this week because BC always has one or two.
  • Nyheim Hines is doing really well. Way ahead of where he was last week. Getting him out there more.
  • Everybody practiced everyday this week. Healthier than last week.
  • BC has only given up one sack. Impressive. Partly what they do. They don’t run a drop back offense. Play-actions, bootleg, screens, etc.
