Will DE Derrick Eason Flip From NC State to Notre Dame?

Defensive End Derrick Eason remains committed to NC State, but it has become more uncertain what school he will sign with on National Signing Day (February 7th).

During the early signing period in December, 21 of NC State’s 22 committed players signed on the dotted line. Eason was the only player that didn’t sign. He claimed that he wanted to wait until February to sign with his Norview teammates.

Since then Notre Dame has offered (January 17th), and he took an Official Visit their this past weekend.

What will Eason do next Wednesday?

Even if Eason sticks to his commitment to NC State, I can’t fault him for taking an official to Notre Dame. If he ends up flipping to Notre Dame, you can’t fault him either. Each individual has to make the best decision for themselves, and the fans should respect that.
