The Man That Can’t Miss: Sam Hunt
NC State guard Sam Hunt is currently having the best month of basketball if his life.
Seriously.
He has made 14 of his last 17 three-point field goal attempts.
Hunt played one season at Jacksonville, and two at North Carolina A&T, before coming to NC State as a Graduate Transfer for his final year of eligibility.
Keatts brought him in to shoot threes, but to be honest, he only proved to be a decent outside threat the past three years.
2013-14 – Jacksonville – 35.4%
2015-16 – NC A&T – 33.8%
2016-17 – NC A&T – 35.4%
Hunt has saved the best for last, shooting 41% from three this season, and has lost his mind in February, making 66.7% from deep range.
The young man from Dudley High School in Greensboro, NC is living a dream, and NC State fans are just glad to be along for the ride.
