12 Wolfpack teams ranked in the Top 25

Update: It’s been brought to our attention that there are two more NC State teams that are currently ranked, yet left off of this list. Senior associate AD Fred Demarest pointed this out.

I remember the press conference from years ago. Debbie Yow stood up and promised that NC State was going to not just focus on basketball and football, but they would fund and invest in all sports. Her goal was for NC State to be the best all-around athletics program in the ACC.

Here we are years later and with a new AD, but man, it sure looks like that dream is being realized. NC State has found success almost across the board this yaer.

As @TechnicionSports pointed out, NC State, at the moment, has 10 different teams ranked in their respective Top-25s.

I guess you could argue that Football could be listed since they finished #23 in the College Football Playoff rankings and technically there hasn’t been any other poll released. And hey, Men’s basketball, you have two ranked opponents on the horizon if you’re looking to join in here. Just sayin.’

Either way, this is pretty impressive and should make you proud if you’re an NC State fan!
