4-Star WR Shamarius Peterkin Includes NC State in His Top-3

4-Star 2025 Wide Receiver Shamarius Peterkin (6’2″/175) released his Top-3 last night, and NC State made the cut along with UNC and Virginia Tech. He also announced that he will be making his college decision on August 16th.

Peterkin took his Official Visit to NC State last weekend. The Wolfpack offered Peterkin back on January 21st of last year.

As a Junior last season, Peterkin had 42 receptions for 824 yards and 12 touchdowns for Mt. Tabor (Winston-Salem) last year. He also returned a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns.

247Sports ranks Peterkin as the #206 overall player nationally in the 2025 recruiting class, the #22 Wide Receiver and the #6 player in the state of North Carolina.

Peterkin took Official Visits to both UNC and Virginia Tech earlier this month.
