NC State vs. Presbyterian: A Historical Perspective

Tonight NC State and Presbyterian will play one another for the third time in the history of the series that began back on January 5th, 2008.

In the first matchup between the Wolfpack and the Blue Hose, NC State won 50-43 at home. Gavin Grant led the home team with 14 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Brandon Costner was the only other Wolfpack player who scored in double-figures, chipping in 10.

In Kevin Keatts’ 1st season in Raleigh, NC State defeated Presbyterian 86-68 on November 16th, 2017. Lennard Freeman led the Wolfpack in scoring with 23 points. Torin Dorn led NC State in rebounding with 9, and also scored 18 points. Markell Johnson led the Pack with 7 assists, and also scored 10 points. Allerik Freeman was the 4th NC State starter to score in double figures, with 12. Omer Yurtseven scored 11 points off the bench.
