Here is a breakdown of how the 2016 and 2017 NC State commits did in the 5th week of high school football:
2016
LB – Garrett Hooker – Hooker had 23 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, 1 punt block, and 1 touchdown in Ledford’s 26-0 victory over Salisbury. Salisbury is now 4-1. Hooker is averaging 17.2 tackles per game.
TE – Bryce Dixon – Dixon had 2 catches for 39 yards on offense and 19 tackles and 2 sacks in Green Hope’s 32-21 win over Sanderson. Green Hope is now 3-2. Dixon is averaging 82.4 receiving yards per game and 11.2 tackles.
LB – Brock Miller – Miller had 12 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 1 sack in John Carroll Catholic’s 17-7 loss to Archbishop McCarthy. John Carroll is 1-2. Miller is averaging 12.3 tackles per game.

QB – Dylan Parham – Parham had 105 passing yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception in Southeast Raleigh’s 26-20 upset victory over Garner. Southeast Raleigh is 2-3 on the year.
WR – DaeShawn Stephens – Stephens had 4 receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown in Hillside’s 44-3 victory over Halifax County. Hillside is now 2-2.
TE – Dylan Autenrieth – Autenrieth had 2 receptions for 33 yards in North Paulding’s 56-21 victory over Kennesaw Mountain. The victory was North Paulding’s first of the season. Their record is now 1-4. Autenrieth has 10 receptions for 179 yards and a touchdown on the season.
OL – Kollin Byers – Crest High School defeated Roseboro 38-10 to improve to 4-0 on the season.
OL – Bryce Folsom – Chattahoochee lost to Centennial 48-40 to fall to 0-4 on the year.
OL – Harrison Gee – Williams lost to Western Alamance 44-0, and now have a record of 2-3.
OL – Justin Witt – Lincoln-Way West defeated Andrew 50-12 to improve to 4-0 on the season.
OL – Joe Sculthorpe – Topsail lost to Jacksonville 34-12 and now is 3-2 on the year.
2017
TE – Damien Darden – C.B Aycock lost to Corinth Holders 56-19. Darden had 4 receptions for 36 yards.
