NC State does have 1 scholarship available, and could still add a player out of the Transfer Portal. With that being said, the roster for the Men’s Basketball team is pretty much set for the 2024-25 season.
Non-graduates had to enter the Transfer Portal by April 30th, and Graduates had to enter by May 1st. Jayden Taylor and Michael O’Connell both made public announcements that they were returning, but the closure of entrance to the Portal means that Breon Pass, Ben Middlebrooks, Dennis Parker Jr. and MJ Rice are all set to return next season.
In a world where the Transfer Portal has all but become free agency in College Basketball, with some players switching schools on an annual basis, it’s encouraging that Kevin Keatts not only recruited a Top-10 Transfer Class, but also recruited a majority of the eligible players to stay. Three players that could transfer entered the Portal (I’m not counting Mohamed Diarra in these numbers, who opted to go pro), while 6 opted to continue running with the Wolfpack.
As a result, below is a breakdown of the roster for the NC State Men’s Basketball team heading into 2024-25, realizing the Wolfpack could still add one player (this team is deep).

I agree! Also could we have K Wash back and give Cincinnati Beejay lol
I agree, whoever coaches up our bigs needs to go back to basic fundamentals. They all take way to long to gather themselves when they get the ball for open lay ups inside. Rather than putting the ball on the floor go strait up. Also why does Anya not dunk the ball anymore? Last year he lead the team in dunks now we are lucky if he gets one dunk a game. Coach Got says his hands are two big to shoot free throws, why can’t he dunk the ball with authority with one hand? He is so soft for… Read more »
Play Kirk more. He seemed a lot more calm last night and played pretty good. Rowan is lazy and seldom in the right location. Play Kirk.
Packalltheway You forget to include Freeman. He should never be in the game when the other team starts to press. He is an instant turnover when the ball hits his hands. 3.9 points/game and you get a college scholarship. Unbelievable.
All the players seem to be improving their games except for Beejay Anya. Very limited on offense and gets himself out of rebounding position all the time with trying to block every shot. His game as actually regressed over the years. Maverick needs to see less minutes he is a defensive liability especially when he is not hitting shots. Those are two factors that seem to play into factor during close games.
Fix the title, Tyler dude. You can’t misspell the name of your own team! 🙂
